I’m not one to divulge my age lightly but when I say that I have been a client of Michelle’s for the best part of 20 years I’m admitting to the fact that I am now officially considered ‘middle aged’! The very fact that I have been a loyal customer for so many years is, testament in itself, to Michelle’s ability as a talented and professional stylist. So what keeps me going back? – the bright airy studio, the VIP one to one treatment, the fabulous range of all natural hair products, getting the cut and colour that I want, but most of all, the knowledge that I’ll walk in the door looking and feeling like the ‘wreck of hesper’ but that o the way out I’ll look and feel good enough to go anywhere or meet anyone! As the old saying goes – ‘If it ain’t broke – don’t fix it’ and I’m sticking to it.

Michelle has been taking care of my hair for over four years now. When I was first introduced to Michelle, I thought all my birthdays and Christmases had come together. She didn’t presume to know my hair or my personality first off and advised to tidy things up until she assessed what’s best for me. She may have been thinking OMG. I have that great wild Irish mop of curls hair, and lots of it, that make me lucky right?

Lucky only if you have someone that understands your hair and is a genius when it comes to the perfect cut. Michelle is that person and it’s taken me decades to find her.

When I first met Michelle she didn’t have her elegant new studio Hair Maven, back then her service was so personal, always one on one and you had her undivided attention. You were her most valued client while you were with her.

It’s remarkable that Michelle delivers this same personal service in her new studio each and every time. For me that’s remarkable, Michelle, I wish you continued success. I am now thinking I better start making my appointments way out.

Both myself and my Mum have followed Michelle from her previous salon to Maven ! Michelle put so much thought into the studio space and going to get your hair done is now an outing to look forward to from the Kevin Murphy products to the selection of tea and treats and great tunes playing in the background. She gets to know her clients and tailors every consultation so if you want a change or advice you can feel Confident she gets your vision.

For a special occasion or no occasion you leave feeling fabulous and will definitely go back!

Maven is in the middle of bustling Temple Bar yet it is the most tranquil experience you will ever have. Michelle has created a space in a wonderful building where I have gone platinum, sipping Prosecco, on my 40th birthday. Would I recommend, you bet ! Maven is a salon with a big heart, a shed load of style and clients who, I’m sure, keep coming back for that very unique experience.

I’ve never left an appointment with Michelle with anything less than magnificent hair. Whether it is a new cut or colour, a glamorous upstyle or a totally new style, Michelle never gets it wrong.

I’ve been going to Maven since it opened and can’t imagine getting my hair done anywhere else. Michelle is amazing at both colour and cut, I go every 6 weeks and love the fact I can rely on 100% consistency in my colour. It’s also in a super handy location in town which means I get to show off my lovely hair as soon as I get it done!

I really enjoyed my visit to your studio. My hair looks the best it has looked in years and I absolutely loved my Kevin Murphy shampoo. Thank you all for a wonderful experience, I can’t wait for my next visit.

I just wanted to say a huge thanks a million for your patience and great skills on the day of our wedding. We had a ball and thanks to you our hair looked fabulous. You were really great to put up with all of us 7 sisters, 4 bridesmaids with a few extra thrown in one room was a lot to take.
